How it works
Days between dates: we subtract the start date from the end date and count whole days. The end date is counted, the start date isn't — so Monday to Tuesday is 1 day.
Business days: we step through each day and only count Monday to Friday. Public holidays aren't removed, since they differ by country.
Adding months: we move the calendar month and keep the same day. If that day doesn't exist (like January 31 + 1 month), we land on the last day of the month.
Worked example
How many days from March 1 to April 15?
- March 1 → March 31 = 30 days
- March 31 → April 15 = 15 days
- Total = 45 days, which is about 6.4 weeks.
With business days on, that's roughly 32 weekdays.

No. It counts from the start date to the end date, so the end date is included and the start date isn't. Add 1 if you want to count both.
